Dear Reader,
After an incredibly fulfilling trip to Chennai the jet lag is still lingering as I claw my way through the week one coffee at a time. I’ve landed back in LA with a full heart, that today, is bursting with Valentine’s love.
It’s been a slow start to the year and I’m itching for the convention season to get into full swing! I have been doodling away at new pieces for the upcoming shows as well as drafting some ideas for a new deck of cards and my first picture book— I’m nervous but determined to crash through some new walls this year.
Comic Con India, Chennai Edition
The 2025 convention season kicked off with an adventure to India!
Last weekend I joined the creators of Radiant Black—Kyle Higgins, Marcelo Costa and artist Eduardo Ferigato—at Comic Con India, Chennai to promote the series and chat comics and creative careers! For the past 2 years I've worked alongside the team, designing merchandise and (some of my favourite) variant covers.
Comic Con India welcomed us with open arms, from the enthusiastic fans to the warm staff members and volunteers, it was a truly memorable and fulfilling trip. On the Friday before the show kicked off we went to see some of the sights Chennai has to offer— highlights included street cows, filter coffee and lunch on the beach.
The energy at the show was unlike any other, you could feel the enthusiasm bursting out of the building. No detail was spared, the show was a high end production from the main stage panels, to the PR to the booths! We were set up with personalised booth space— I was blown away to see my work blown up on the walls, I want to tell you I was cool about it, but I definitely squealed as we approached the space! A moment I will have in the back of my mind for some time.
A huge thank you to Panda, Jatin and the team for a truly incredible experience. If you do get a chance to stop past one of the Comic Con India shows you will not be disappointed!

Bad Blood DOTY Award
Last month I was shocked to receive two nominations in the DOTY Awards for Bad Blood, in both the best extras and best pips category. After anxiously awaiting the results, I’m excited to share that Bad Blood placed 3rd in the best extras category!
I can not thank Nicoletta, Mat and Nick for building this world with me!
The Gallery
This month I put together a piece celebrating my latest obsession, Wicked. With dreams of working with Mondo I imagined the piece as both poster and limited edition vinyl design. As well as finalising my postcards from LA series with the Griffith Observatory I indulged in a childhood favourite, Beauty and The Beast.
All of these pieces will be available at upcoming cons!
