I’m writing to you amid the last minute SDCC prep stress! I’m eagerly awaiting boxes of paper to be dropped on my door step so I can finally breathe and take in the excitement— San Diego Comic Con is in 2 days!
This year I’m doing the show a little differently, I’m apart of the Massive-Verse Booth (4901) located on the outside of Artist Alley. We are signing on a rotating schedule so I won’t be at the booth the entire time the show floor is open. However my prints, variant cover comps and playing cards will be available for sale throughout the duration of the show, even when I’m not there. If you would like to say hello my signing times are listed below!
In addition to the Massive-Verse booth I’ll also be at the Image Comics Booth (1915) at 2pm on Friday.
For the first time I also have some SDCC exclusives that are available, I’ve also joined Hero Complex Gallery for their SDCC releases as well. All the details are listed below!
Looking forward to seeing some of you there! And if you can’t make it, we will have some pieces available online early next week (yes that’s right I’ll reopen my store next Tuesday, mark your calendars).
SDCC HCG Release
Emotions, 8x10
This year I was invited to join Hero Complex Gallery’s SDCC releases! I was really chuffed to receive the invitation, they work with some incredible artists and I still can’t believe this year I’m included.
After watching Inside Out 2 I had to honour all my feelings and the emotional rollercoaster that was the movie and draw Riley’s emotions. Prints are limited edition, 8x10".
HCG will be at Booth 4501, close to artist alley, all remaining prints will be available online after the show.
SDCC Massive-Verse Pin Debut
C.O.W.L 2” pin and Shift 1.75” pin
I’ve teamed up with the Massive-Verse to create two new editions to the pin set I designed for NYCC last year. Shift has been added to the main line up, he’s a 1.75” black nickel.
In celebration of the 10 year anniversary of C.O.W.L and the release of C.O.W.L 1964 we have created a 2” anti-gold medallion style pin, representing the badges from the comic. It was my first time working with the anti-gold plating and I just LOVEEEE how they turned out!
Both designs will debut at SDCC and will be available via the Black Market Narrative online store after the show.
SDCC Radiant Black Exclusive Print
The Radiants, 11x17
Exclusive to the Massive-Verse booth, I have a limited edition 11x17 Radiant Black prints. This series is one of my all time favourites, I’ve fallen in love with so many of the characters, it was an absolute please to get create a piece celebrating this world.
All remaining prints will be available online via Black Market Narrative and my online store after the show.

I spend so much of my life comparing myself and my success to everyone around me. There are moments where I am so proud of what I have achieved but also so embarrassed that it’s not more— I’ve been unpacking this my whole adult life don’t worry.
Being able to type all of this out leaves me with a strange feeling, Kelly 12 months ago would have loved for the opportunity to collaborate with other creators and have her work on the SDCC show floor. Today I get to share multiple collaborations and I’m pinching myself, I can’t believe I finally got this opportunity. Whilst this is an annual occurrence for some artists, this year it’s a big deal for me and I’m trying really hard to enjoy this and not feel ashamed that it hasn’t happened sooner.
I feel equal parts excited and vulnerable about the coming week, at big shows like this everyone wants to feel apart of something, feel like their creative contribution matters. I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who is subscribed to the telegram and cheers me on.
