Dear Reader,
Greetings from São Paulo, Brazil! After touching down at 6am yesterday I’m slowlyyyyyyy adjusting to the time zone, eating all the good food and most importantly counting down the hours til CCXP tonight (schedule below)! With 200,000+ attendees I feel like it’s going to be a memorable one!
It’s been a hot minute since my last telegram, so let me catch you up on the last couple of months! After a whirlwind NYCC I headed back to LA, so incredibly thankful for the love this show brings each year! I took a little time after the show to explore NYC, which was a really nice way to end the trip. I had my first NYCC exclusive cover drop, visited my friends at Roku, saw Death Becomes her (AMAZING), ate many many bagels and managed to fight off NY pizza until my last night!— it’s like cardboard with cheese on it and it deeply saddens me.
As always it was straight back into it after the show, I’ve been working on some fun things with Roku and I’m slowly chipping away at my new deck of cards! Last month Revenge of hosted the Comic Creators Block Party— arguably the best creator event in LA, It’s a true celebration of the people who make comics! A big thank you to everyone who came out for it, the community support is incredible! I feel very lucky to have been apart of the event!
Whilst I grab another coffee I’’ll leave you with some Roku updates and my CCXP schedule below. I’ll be sure to share all the fun from CCXP in my next telegram!
Barbie x Roku City
Last month I helped Barbie load her camper van for a trip through Roku City!
Well stocked and packed with friends, the van is off on another adventure. Growing up I never had the opportunity to take a trip in Barbie’s camper van— this one defiantly fulfilled a childhood dream and might be my favorite piece I’ve worked on to date!
CCXP Brazil
My last show of the year is a MASSIVE one! I’ll be joining Kyle Higgins, Marcelo Costa, Eduardo Ferigato and Rod Fernandes at CCXP this weekend, December 3-7 to celebrate the Massive-Verse in Brazil!
We will all be in Artists’ Valley at all weekend including Spoiler Night, you can find me at table K15-16 as well as at the following panels;
